Asher School of the Elements is a boarding school and university for the "gifted" - the secret subset of the population that is capable of controlling one of five elements. Fire, earth, air, water, and electricity. The gift is usually a hereditary one, although occasionally the gifted can pop up in otherwise normal families. Asher itself is a remote city located along the coast of Washington state, populated entirely by the gifted and their families.

the air students are a lucky bunch, having the uppermost floor of the building alongside the electric students. they can sit back and relax on one of several balconies that the two elements share. both air and electricity students may post here.
