Asher School of the Elements is a boarding school and university for the "gifted" - the secret subset of the population that is capable of controlling one of five elements. Fire, earth, air, water, and electricity. The gift is usually a hereditary one, although occasionally the gifted can pop up in otherwise normal families. Asher itself is a remote city located along the coast of Washington state, populated entirely by the gifted and their families.

where to find Quinn has made for himself quite the reputation as the loner troublemaker of his graduating class. He can often be found alone in secluded parts of the Asher campus, whether that is tucked away in the library of the university or hiding in a tree in the courtyard. Those with access to the Electricity dormatory can also find him lurking there, if he's not already locked up in his dorm.
friends He has made a point not to let anyone close since coming to Asher Academy. That does not mean he wants to be alone. He simply feels the need to isolate himself to prevent himself from hurting those he cares about again. That said, while he will vehemently deny it, he needs friends. He yearns for companionship, even if he stubbornly rejects it. He's loyal once you get past his barriers.
enemies Quinn is almost always in a constant state of irritation that often stems from boredom. He's disruptive in class, even if he's subtle about it while on his own (not his fault someone, usually the teacher, calls him out on it). Plenty of his senior classmates probably dislike him by this point, and the underclassmen have probably been told to stay away from him.
romance That yearning for companionship can easily bloom into something more once someone starts breaking down his walls. Discover who he really is and find a means of keeping him from crumbling into pieces when his internal fear and self-hate start to surface, and his heart may eventually begin to flutter. Gender, grade, etc. do not matter. All that does is your willingness to stick by him through thick and thin.
